Cat Cafe
It’s like your favorite coffee shop, but with way more cats.
It’s like your favorite coffee shop, but with way more cats.
The Happy Beast Cat Cafe in Lafayette is a unique space where you can enjoy the company of cats – along with a cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. We partner with local animal shelters to select our foster cats, and then provide them with a safe, fun, and nourishing environment where they can improve their health while waiting for their forever homes.
Cats are obligate carnivores and need a meat-based diet to thrive. That’s why we feed our cats a healthy diet of species-appropriate food, treats, and chews, and help educate our customers about the importance of proper diet and feeding practices.
If you’re looking for a fun and unique experience in Lafayette, come visit the Cat Cafe!

All cats need plenty of exercise, play, and mental stimulation to live their best lives. Feel free to try out our collection of cat toys, including scratchers, catnip chasers, and feather wands.
Our cats are usually quite nice, but just a heads up that they can still scratch! Please pet our cats with caution and care, and never pick them up. You can invite a cat to sit with you, but it should be the cat’s choice.
Interested in fostering or adopting one of our cafe cats? We’re super picky about our cats’ furever homes, but we’re happy to provide classes and guidance to help you learn more about food options and creating an ideal home environment. Submit an inquiry form at the Cat Cafe to get started.
